Angel of the North

This statue is called “The Angel of the North.” It is located in Newcastle, England.

Soocer

One of the most popular sports in England is soccer. There are many professional teams in the country.

English Breakfast

Today I had a proper English breakfast. There was bacon, eggs, toast, and sausage, large mushrooms, baked beans, and black pudding.

Liverpool

Liverpool was a very important port city for a long time.

Below are the Albert Docks.   

Also, Liverpool is the hometown of The Beatles. This is where they started.

Stonehenge

Stonehenge was built as early as 3000 BC. 

Bath

This is an ancient Roman bathhouse in the city Bath. 

Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is over 900 years old.  Everything was gold. This the queen’s favorite castle. There were cars and a few small parking lots. I could only go in certain parts of the castle.

Taxis in England

This is what the taxis look like in England.

Newspapers

Newspapers are free in London.

There was a story in one about buses almost hitting people on bikes.

Churches in London

These are pictures of famous churches. The top one is called Westminster Abbey. The bottom one is called St. Paul's Cathedral.

For breakfast today I had banana bread with yogurt.

trash          -     rubbish/litter

Palace of Westminister

This building is called The Palace of Westminister. England's government meets here.

Ferris Wheel

This giant Ferris Wheel is called the London Eye.
